going on here ? Two of the main reasons why I told the original publisher that I
did not want to include photos in the book was 1) Photos are static. Whether you
do a block or parry, or a glorified slap, it makes it look like you are a statue. Even
doing these photos, we never stopped moving in real life. 2) Showing anyone how
to do anything related to self-defense, has the tendency to become a "style" or a
"system", the dreaded connection to martial arts. It human nature, But it doesn't
mean that it's correct. Traditional Asian Martial Arts are infamous for presenting
"solutions to problems that don't exist"
