I know that it is very difficult for a lot of people to take the attention off of themselves,

Any type of postive spiritual benefit from practicing yoga is nonsense. Everything about it is TOXIC, as is "Kundalini" and the New Age / Eastern Religion version of Meditation. Easy to find on Youtube, stories about how toxic yoga is, and / or how they ended up in a yoga-based cult.
